In this photo you can see that famous steel construction in the background, a very windblown me and a large bag! Today we visited the Musee Marmottan Monet which also had an exhibition of the works by Raoul and Jean Dufy. These paintings were , in my opinion, as good as the Monets (a different style but I loved them. It seemed to us that towards the last years of his life, Monet got more and more "obscure". After the Musee, we had a 3 course Formula lunch at a nearby cafe then Metroed (my new word) back into the city where we had a look at the Grand Palais. Campbell had told us there was a really cool exhibition on there but unfortunately it seems it is only on at night.
After a light dinner, we headed over to "The Champs" where we sat in a bar having a drink, watching all the chauffeurs dropping off their employers for their nights out. Most corners had small groups of men in suits, huddled around Bentleys, Mercedes etc, waiting.
After a drink we went to the Crazy Horse which was a wonderful show! The dancing was fabulous and the lighting was amazing. Chris wants to know who trains them as they all had gluts to die for!
Tomorrow Les Soldes ((Sales) start!!
