While we're overseas we will have a Travelsim mobile with us as the international mobile call costs from Telstra are too expensive. To call us from a mobile simply dial +37257173206. To call from a land line call the international exit code (e.g. 00 from NZ and 0011 from Aust) then 32757173206. Remember France is 8 hours behind Aust and 10 hours behind NZ.

3rd June

Vendredi 3 Juin
Today we had more retail therapy in Nice. The day started out with thunderstorms but finished with sunshine. After walking around the shops we returned chez nous (home) on a bus that had air conditioning (a rarity) but if it was on, it must have been faulty as it felt like about 40 degrees C!
We decided to have our last dinner in Cagnes sur Mer, out at a restaurant. The meal was absolutely beautiful but it is probably the most expensive meal out we have ever had!! I (Jan)  saw a painting on the wall of the restaurant that was fabulous!!! A 50th birthday present?? Now we have to carry it home. Hopefully Singapore Airlines will be accomodating.
