Today we are 3. Campbell arrived from Leeds to stay with us until he flies home to Australia in a weeks time.
We drove down to Montpelier yesterday to pick him up. We took the A9 from Orane to Montpelier. It's an excellent way to cover a lot of km in a short time. Chris especially enjoys the 130 km/hr speed limit!
Today we went to the market at Bedouin again to show Campbell. We must have arrived later than last week as it seemed very busy. After stocking up on supplies and a coffee in a local cafe, we headed to Orange but made a detour to Caromb for lunch seeing as it was 12.00 and as mentioned previously, everything closes. After Plat du Jour, and a pichet of vin rouge, we drove to Orange, this time with Campbell navigating to give Jan a break from abuse (or to give Chris some decent navigating instructions!).
In Orange we showed Campbell the Arc de Triomphe, the 4th century church and the old Roman Theatre which we saw on our last visit here. We returned home and hoped to find a supermarket open
